What will the weather be like?

May is one of the warmest months of the year in Oaxaca City, but it generally stays pleasant for visitors.

Highs: 29–32 °C (84–90 °F) · Lows: 14–16 °C (57–61 °F)

Where should we stay?

We’ve blocked rooms at several hotels in the city with a special rate for our guests — the booking codes will be listed in the Lodging section. We also recommend other hotels and Airbnbs in the city center (Centro).

What is the dress code?

We’ll share the dress code here soon — stay tuned.

How do we get around? Is there Uber?

Oaxaca International Airport has an official, reliable taxi service available 24 hours a day — look for the booths before exiting the airport. It’s safe and properly regulated, so you can travel to your hotel with peace of mind.

Note: Uber does not operate in Oaxaca. The DiDi app works in the city and is a reliable alternative.

Can we bring our children?

Is babysitting available?
